Gwyneth Paltrow is a popular celebrity who recently garnered headlines for a ski crash incident that happened in 2016.

 While the trial for her ski crash eventually came to an end in her favor, she is not much into acting anymore.

She is globally recognized for her portrayal of Pepper Pots in Marvel films.

During her active acting career, she has worked with several high-profile celebrities however there was a time when she reportedly fumed over the fact that her co-star had a great steamy scene with another actress.

Back in 2015, the actress worked with Johnny Depp in the action comedy film, Mortdecai. 

While she had a great time working with him, she opened up about a particular scene that made her furious.

Back in 2015, Gwyneth Paltrow was doing promotions for her then-new film, Mortdecai, and stopped by The Rachael Ray Show to share her experience working with Johnny Depp.

In the interview, she opened up about a scene in which she had to kiss her co-star.

While it would look easy for a third person as the former has quite an experience of making out with actors professionally, she opened up about feeling afraid to get fired. It was because the latter had a mustache in the film which bothered her the most.

She shared,

“Johnny Depp’s character has an automatic gag reflex, so if someone gags, he gags! And honestly, I ruined probably 15 takes”

While it was deemed funny at first, she became conscious when she saw the crew reacting like “Oh my God…” which made her dig her nails into her “skin to not laugh by the end of the thing!” 

While they had their fair share of fun and problems on the set, they eventually completed the filming. This was not the only thing that bothered the former.

The GOOP founder also was bothered by the fact that another actress, Penelope Cruz shared a steamy scene with Depp in the 2001 film, Blow meanwhile she was stuck kissing the mustache which was on his face in the film.

“How come Penelope Cruz gets to do the movie where they’re all sexy and making out and I’m making out with this, like, wig on his face?”

The actress has always wanted to work with the Pirates of the Caribbean star for a long time which turned true when she starred alongside him as a lead in the comedy film.

While the duo had an immense influence in the entertainment industry, their film was a box office flop.
